The 4 available areas of FIFA Collections each encapsulate a specific story from FIFA's rich sporting history and presence; "1904", "Editions", "Code", "Essentials. Each collection has been designed with very individual identities ranging from the "1904" collection with its strong heritage, to the classically branded "Essentials" range and the more discerning and edgy "Code" collection.
1904
"1904" is the range of men's vintage lifestyle apparel celebrating FIFA's heritage and has strong historic references to FIFA's inception in Paris, 1904. The collection has a relaxed fit and a collegiate style that encapsulates elements of FIFA's history. Careful research has gone into creating every detail and each piece of clothing reflects a unique part of FIFA's history. The range includes varsity style T-shirts and polo shirts, lightweight knits, rugby shirts, jackets, shirts and accessories; all featuring graphics inspired by the origins of football and FIFA's first headquarters in Paris on Rue Saint Honore 299.
CODE
"Code" is a range of street football inspired clothing which captures the energy of youth football played around the world. Bold and bright, "Code" is an urban streetwear range comprising of casual T-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, jackets, and pants. The style is influenced by Electronic Arts' FIFA computer game 'Street Football' and features the codes used for the moves in the game as prominent graphics.
EDITONS
"Editions" celebrates past FIFA World Cup™ tournaments in a contemporary sportswear style. The Autumn/Winter 2009 collection is strongly influenced by 1950's football and incorporates the graphics used in the original posters advertising the 1950 FIFA World Cup Brazil™. The collection focuses on seven key countries which took part in the tournament; Brazil, Uruguay, England, USA, Spain, Sweden and Italy. Garments available include men's and women's retro tracksuits, T-shirts, and polo shirts which will appeal to football fans beyond the participating nations. The original team colours worn in the tournament are used, including sky blue for Uruguay, white and gold for Brazil and navy, red and white for Italy.
